2025 Alabama High School All-State Basketball Teams
The Alabama Sports Writers Association has announced the 2024-25 All-State high school basketball teams, highlighting outstanding players and coaches across various classifications in both the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) and the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA). First-team selections feature many athletes, with notable names like Aaliyah Blanchard (Hoover) and DeWayne Brown (Hoover) leading the girls’ and boys’ teams, respectively.
The announcement includes three All-State teams for both boys and girls, covering each classification from 1A to 7A. Honorable mentions also recognize players who showcased exceptional talent throughout the season. Coaches of the year for each classification were also named, with Natasha Smallwood (Albertville) being honored for the girls and Dylan Burleson (Florence) for the boys in 7A.
The Player of the Year finalists are set to be announced on March 18, while the prestigious titles of Mr. and Miss Basketball will be revealed at the annual awards banquet on April 17. This year’s selections celebrate the depth of talent in Alabama high school basketball, as each classification showcases a mix of established stars and promising young prospects, reflecting the vibrant landscape of high school sports in the state.
