Alabama A&M Athletics Director to Speak at HBCU Sports Symposium
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Dr. Paul A. Bryant, the Director of Athletics at Alabama A&M University, is set to be the featured speaker at the upcoming HBCU Sports Ecosystem Symposium Series. The event, themed “AI and Athletics: Understanding the Value of Historic Brand Association, Innovation, and Digital Media for Future Growth and Persistence,” will take place at Texas Southern University, hosted by the Center for Africana Futures in collaboration with the Department of Health, Kinesiology & Sports Studies, and the Department of Athletics.
Dr. Bryant will address attendees on the second day of the symposium, specifically in the College of Education within the Roderick R. Paige Building. Expressing his excitement about the opportunity, Bryant stated, “I am honored to be a part of this historic symposium. It gives me the opportunity to strategically convey the changing ecosystem of HBCU Athletics.”
The symposium features a series of sessions aimed at exploring the intersection of technology and sports within historically black colleges and universities, with discussions scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.
