Alabama Dominates ULM at Home
Alabama Crimson Tide Dominates ULM in 73-0 Blowout
Tuscaloosa, AL – The Alabama Crimson Tide rebounded decisively from last week’s disappointing loss to Florida State, achieving a stunning 73-0 victory over ULM on Saturday night. The game showcased Alabama’s dominance with a flawless performance from quarterback Ty Simpson, who completed all 17 of his passes, marking a remarkable 100% completion rate. This achievement positions Simpson with the second-most completions in a single game in Alabama history, trailing only Mac Jones, who holds the record of 19 completions.
Simpson’s outstanding first half set a new Alabama record for consecutive completions, and he contributed significantly to the scoreboard with four touchdowns—three through the air and one via a rushing score. The Crimson Tide’s defense also excelled, shutting down ULM entirely and maintaining control throughout the matchup.
With this emphatic win, Alabama has regained momentum ahead of a challenging schedule, consisting predominantly of Power Five opponents. The Crimson Tide’s next test will come against the Wisconsin Badgers at home in Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, September 13th, at 11:00 a.m. CT.
