New Era Wrestling Returning To Tuscaloosa For ‘Crimson Clash’ On The Strip
Professional Wrestling Returns to Tuscaloosa with “Crimson Clash”
TUSCALOOSA, AL — Next month, New Era Wrestling will bring professional wrestling back to Tuscaloosa with its highly anticipated “Crimson Clash” event at Two Dimes on September 11. The lineup features notable wrestlers, including “Mr. 1985” Bubba Cagle and Gia Miller, currently affiliated with TNA (Total Nonstop Action Wrestling) and a former Phi Mu at the University of Alabama. “Big Trouble” Ben Bishop, fresh off a WWE tryout, will also join the event, showcasing a mix of local talent and wrestlers from out of town.
This marks New Era Wrestling’s second event in Tuscaloosa and the inaugural show at The Strip, following a successful outdoor event earlier this year. Organizer Wood noted that this initiative represents a new era for pro wrestling in the area, emphasizing the unique atmosphere of the venue and the event’s potential for success.
Wood attributed the surge in local pro wrestling interest to WWE’s recent promotional strategies, which have attracted a wider audience, including younger fans. For example, a child discovering a wrestler like Roman Reigns on ESPN might spark their interest in attending local shows.
Tickets for the event are available for $25 online or at the door, with a special promo code “PATCH” offering 20% off through Eventbrite. Support for this unique event is encouraged as the local wrestling community thrives.
