Hilton Birmingham at UAB Unveils Major Renovation
Hilton Birmingham at UAB has proudly announced the completion of a multi-million-dollar renovation, enhancing its 295 guestrooms, 16,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces, its restaurant, and fitness center. Managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality and owned by The UAB Educational Foundation, the overhaul positions the hotel as a key destination for visitors, alumni, and the Birmingham community.
This extensive renovation, carried out by CCR Architecture & Interiors alongside P&M Construction, modernized all guest accommodations while transforming event spaces—such as a ballroom and state-of-the-art meeting rooms—to cater to a variety of functions, including corporate meetings and university gatherings, with upgraded finishes and technology.
In connection with its UAB location, the hotel introduced Blazer’s Grill, a new dining option led by Executive Chef Bryan Williams. This restaurant showcases regional cuisine in a welcoming environment, appealing to students, alumni, and local travelers.
Located just two blocks from UAB’s hospital and the Kirklin Clinic, the hotel features various amenities, including free shuttle service within a mile radius and to/from Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport, an outdoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, and pet-friendly options.
To commemorate the renovation, Hilton Birmingham is offering Hilton Honors Bonus Points and exclusive perks for event planners booking through December 31, 2025. This revitalization further solidifies the hotel’s role as a premier hub in the Birmingham community.
