Huntsville Ballet Company Launches 2025-2026 Season with Premieres
The Huntsville Ballet Company is set to kick off its 2025-2026 season with two captivating world premieres: Ashley Dolloff’s The Shape of a Promise and Gina Guerrera’s Beneath the October Moon. Dolloff’s romantic ballet, inspired by the complexities of covenantal love, features the moving compositions of classical composer Sergei Rachmaninoff. In contrast, Guerrera’s whimsical piece invites audiences—young and old—on a magical Halloween journey, accompanied by an original score from Huntsville’s own Jackson Love.
Both productions will take place in the Dream Theatre Performing Arts Center, known for its intimate and state-of-the-art atmosphere. Each performance will conclude with a Q&A session, allowing attendees to engage with the dancers and the company director, creating a unique connection between artists and audience.
Families are encouraged to participate, as children attending the matinee performances on Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26, dressed in costumes will join the cast on stage for a special costume parade. Moreover, these kids will receive complimentary tickets to April’s The Sleeping Beauty performance at the VBC Concert Hall.

- Friday, October 24th at 7:00 PM
- Saturday, October 25th at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM
- Sunday, October 26th at 3:00 PM
