This announcement came on February 5, 2026, marking a return to her home country after six years in the U.S., where she honed her skills as a key player for the Lions.
Bussey reunites with fellow former Lion, Kate Wiseman, who joined Oxford ahead of the 2023-24 season. Expressing her excitement, Bussey highlighted the club’s current momentum and the joy of playing alongside Wiseman. She credited her success to her coaches, trainers, and teammates at North Alabama.
