Alexa Harley Joins FOX61/CW20 as Sports Multi-Skilled Journalist
In 2025, Alexa Harley made her debut at FOX61/CW20 as a Sports Multi-Skilled Journalist, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her previous roles in Huntsville, Alabama. There, she excelled as a news reporter and morning anchor before stepping up to serve as the Weekend Sports Anchor & Reporter in June 2024. During her three-year tenure in Alabama, Alexa gained significant exposure covering major programs like Alabama and Auburn, alongside universities such as UAH, UNA, and Alabama A&M. She notably produced a 30-minute special on college basketball featuring the Crimson Tide and Tigers, and co-hosted a high school football show weekly during fall.
Originally from Fort Myers, Florida, Alexa graduated from the University of Florida, where she experienced the excitement of covering Gator football’s Dan Mullen era, including attendance at the SEC Conference Championship.
When not reporting, Alexa enjoys hot pilates, cooking, or visiting friends in New York and Florida. An avid sports fan, she also keeps up with the “Bachelor” franchise and Taylor Swift’s latest endeavors. Adding a unique twist to her identity, Alexa is half-Canadian and looks forward to a Tim Hortons opening in Connecticut.
As she embarks on her new adventure at FOX61/CW20, Alexa is eager to cover UCONN sports and hockey. She welcomes story ideas and can be reached via email at AHarley@fox61.com. Follow her on social media at X: https://x.com/AlexaHarleyTV.
