BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Birmingham City Schools is gearing up for its Spring Recruitment Events on April 16-17, 2025, aimed at attracting prospective educators and staff. These events will provide invaluable opportunities for candidates to connect with district leaders, participate in interviews, and potentially secure positions on the spot.
Kicking off the recruitment activities, “The Art of Connection,” a networking night, will take place on April 16 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Birmingham Museum of Art. This evening will allow attendees to meet principals and district leaders while networking with fellow educators.
The following day, “The Perfect Fit,” a comprehensive hiring fair, will occur from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at A.H. Parker High School. This event promises on-the-spot interviews and job offers, alongside opportunities for resume reviews, discussions on certification pathways, and insights into the roles available, which include teachers, substitute teachers, custodians, and bus drivers.
