Moe’s Original BBQ Expands to Gadsden
Moe’s Original BBQ is set to open its latest location in Gadsden, specifically at 208 S. Second St., on Monday. The restaurant will occupy a 5,000-square-foot space that was previously home to Nola’s on Second. Esteemed for its Southern-style barbecue, Moe’s menu will include favorites such as pulled pork, ribs, smoked wings, turkey, chicken, as well as catfish and shrimp. The new venue will also offer large party takeout and catering options.
In addition to delicious food, Moe’s Gadsden location will feature a full bar with rotating drink specials and plans for live music and trivia nights, enhancing the community vibe the owners aim to create. Co-owner Chris Campbell expressed a long-standing aspiration to open in Gadsden, stating, “It has always been a dream of opening a Moe’s in our hometown as we knew it was the perfect place to bring this style of good Southern food, cold drinks, and great vibes.”
The restaurant will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with bar hours extending into the evening. Guests can enjoy the cozy indoor dining area, which accommodates up to 80 people, adorned with tile floors and handcrafted wooden furniture. An outdoor patio will also be available for daytime dining or relaxing evenings. With 20 locations across Alabama and a presence in 11 states, Moe’s Original BBQ continues to expand its footprint in the barbecue scene.
