University of Alabama Announces Special Commencement Event with Trump and Saban
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama will host a special commencement ceremony featuring former head football coach Nick Saban and President Donald Trump. Scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on May 1 at Coleman Coliseum, the event will also include remarks from University President Stuart Bell.
Candidates graduating in the spring will receive priority seating, and free tickets are available for guests of graduates, as well as summer and fall graduates, faculty, and staff. Attendees are advised to arrive two hours prior to the event due to security protocols, with doors opening at 3 p.m.
While this special event is drawing significant attention, the regular commencement exercises will still take place from May 2 to May 4, where graduates’ names will be announced and degrees conferred.
