Grissom Tigers Face Tough Season Setbacks
As the 2025 high school football season continues, the Grissom Varsity Boys Football team has struggled to find success, with six consecutive losses marking a tough beginning. The team’s recent string of defeats includes a 26-45 loss against Buckhorn High School on October 31 and a 14-35 defeat to Austin High School on October 24. In the preceding weeks, Grissom also fell short against Sparkman High School with a score of 14-40 and was shut out 0-43 in their game against Florence High School on October 10.
Each week, the Tigers faced formidable opponents, leading to losses that have dampened hopes for a turnaround in the season. Grissom’s games against Guntersville High School and Albertville High School ended in close scores of 16-34 and 18-20, respectively, hinting at moments of competitiveness despite the unfavorable outcomes.
Looking ahead, the team must rally to regain momentum, starting with their upcoming game previews against the remaining opponents. As they prepare for more challenging matches, the focus will be on improving performance and securing their first win of the season.
With the next games on the horizon, Grissom Tigers fans remain hopeful for a turnaround as the team seeks to build on lessons learned during this challenging stretch.
