Exciting Easter Events in Tuscaloosa
As Easter Sunday approaches on April 20, families in Tuscaloosa can look forward to a variety of festive activities. Kicking off the celebrations on April 5, the Easter Seals of West Alabama will host a Champions Walk and egg hunt, featuring a 5K and accompanying egg hunt for kids under 12, aimed at supporting local programs. Holt’s community Easter Extravaganza will also take place, offering egg hunts, games, and lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On April 6, arts enthusiasts can participate in a spring cookie decorating class, while children can enjoy an egg hunt at the University of Alabama’s President’s Mansion and Northport’s Bunny Trail, featuring prizes and refreshments. The Bunny Trail will also host a Pet Egg-stravaganza on April 13, encouraging pet owners to bring their furry friends.
April 12 features the “Egg the City” event at Tuscaloosa County High School, promising fun with 75,000 eggs, games, and food. On April 13, various organizations will host egg hunts, games, and raffles, catering to children and families alike.
Leading up to Easter, the Tuscaloosa County Park and Recreation Authority will host the Easter Jam EGGstravaganza on April 19, featuring activities and food, while the Children’s Hands-On Museum will offer an egg hunt with admission.
Finally, families can wrap up their Easter celebrations with a brunch at the University Club on April 20, complete with Easter Bunny photos and egg hunts for children.
