This Mother’s Day, Huntsville Botanical Garden (HBG) offers families a delightful occasion with the “Mom & Me Tea at the Garden” on Sunday, May 11, 2025. The event features two exclusive seatings: 1:00–2:30 p.m. and 3:15–4:45 p.m., held in the beautifully decorated Celebration Garden. In case of bad weather, the event will relocate to the charming Carriage House.
This family-friendly tea experience combines connection and celebration, set against the stunning backdrop of the Garden. Guests can expect a sophisticated atmosphere adorned with pastel linens and fresh flowers, along with the soothing sounds of live acoustic guitar music. The curated light menu includes cucumber sandwiches, strawberry herb sandwiches, and gourmet treats, complemented by premium teas from Piper & Leaf. A unique cash blini bar adds a special twist, offering traditional adult options alongside non-alcoholic “baby blinis” for the little ones.
Children attending will receive a keepsake bowtie or necklace and there will be a “Toast to Moms” moment, along with photo opportunities in picturesque settings. Tickets are available for Garden members and non-members, with limited availability expected to sell quickly. Guests wishing to sit together are encouraged to email seating requests in advance.
