BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) has revealed the seeding for the highly anticipated 2025 SWAC Baseball Tournament, set to take place from May 21-25 at Birmingham’s historic Rickwood Field. The tournament features the league’s top eight teams based on their performance during the regular season.
Bethune-Cookman clinched the No. 1 seed with an impressive 24-5 SWAC record, followed closely by Florida A&M at No. 2 (24-6 SWAC). Alabama State secured the No. 3 seed with a record of 21-9, while Arkansas-Pine Bluff rounded out the top four with 17-9. Grambling State, with an 18-11 record, occupies the No. 5 seed, while Jackson State follows at No. 6 (16-12). Southern (15-3 SWAC) and Texas Southern (15-15 SWAC) complete the bracket as the seventh and eighth seeds, respectively.
The tournament kicks off with four games on May 21, highlighting matchups such as Bethune-Cookman vs. Texas Southern and Florida A&M vs. Southern.
