Oxford, Alabama Announced as Venue for Major League Fishing’s Fishing Clash Team Series Patriot Cup
Oxford to Host Major League Fishing’s Patriot Cup in October
Oxford, Alabama, has been selected as the venue for the third event of the 2025 Fishing Clash Team Series, the Patriot Cup, scheduled from October 22 to October 27. This prestigious tournament, organized by Major League Fishing (MLF), will span six days and feature 12 two-man teams from the Bass Pro Tour competing for a total prize pool of $560,000.
In line with MLF’s unique competition format, all fishable waters within a 60-mile radius of Oxford are off-limits to participating anglers until the start of the event. Each day’s fishing locations remain undisclosed until competitors arrive at the launch ramp, adding an element of surprise and strategy, as officials transport anglers directly to their assigned areas. The live broadcast of the event, MLFNOW!®, will kick off at 9 a.m. CT each day, allowing fans to witness every thrilling moment of the competition.
The Patriot Cup will be streamed live, with highlights airing during the final periods from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. CT on RFD-TV. Additionally, a series of six original, two-hour episodes chronicling the event will premiere on Outdoor Channel in early 2026.
Competing teams include notable anglers like Ott DeFoe, Alton Jones Sr., and Takahiro Omori. Fans can catch all the action through various platforms, including MajorLeagueFishing.com and MyOutdoorTV (MOTV) apps, while hosts Chad McKee and J.T. Kenney provide insights throughout the tournament.
