OXFORD, AL — The city is gearing up for the inaugural East Alabama Boat Show at Quintard Mall from March 14-16, inviting boating enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers to partake in a weekend filled with exhibits, seminars, and exclusive deals. Sponsored by AmFirst Bank, the event will showcase an extensive range of boats, motors, personal watercraft, ATVs, kayaks, and marine accessories, complete with special on-site pricing and financing options for potential buyers.
In addition to the merchandise, the family-friendly event will feature daily prizes and educational seminars focused on boating and outdoor recreation. Organizers emphasize that admission and parking are free, making the event accessible for all. “Unlike other boat shows, where a family might spend $100 or more, our aim is to support local businesses and promote shopping in Oxford,” said event organizer Thomas Shelton, highlighting that vendor fees are reinvested into marketing rather than profit.
Quintard Mall is providing the outdoor space at no cost, encouraging visitors to explore its newly renovated facilities, including the food court. The event is set to run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, featuring a lineup of top boat dealers and engaging activities expected to draw crowds from across the region.
