University of Alabama to Host Special Commencement Ceremony Featuring President Trump
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama is poised to host a unique commencement ceremony for the class of 2025 on Thursday, May 1, at 6:30 p.m. in Coleman Coliseum. This significant event will feature an address from former President Donald J. Trump, alongside remarks from UA President Stuart R. Bell and Nick Saban, the university’s celebrated former football coach.
Priority seating will be granted to spring commencement candidates, while free tickets will also be available for their guests, as well as for summer and fall graduates, faculty, and students. Attendees are encouraged to arrive at least two hours early due to enhanced security measures; doors will open at 3 p.m.
Parking will be accessible in the Soccer Lot, with shuttle services provided to Coleman Coliseum. Individuals planning to attend should consult the event website for a comprehensive list of prohibited items, noting that only clear bags will be permitted.
The previously scheduled college-specific commencement ceremonies, set for May 2-4, will continue as planned, allowing for individual acknowledgment of graduates.
