Todd and Julie Chrisley’s Visit to Tuscaloosa: A Family Move-In Experience
This weekend, reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley were spotted in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, as they helped their son, Grayson Chrisley, settle into his new apartment for college. Grayson, a 19-year-old student at the University of Alabama, achieved Dean’s List honors in his first semester. Following their recent release from federal prison, where they served two and a half years for bank fraud, this was Todd’s first social media outing celebrating Grayson’s accomplishments.
Grayson, who graduated from high school online, was previously under the guardianship of his older sister Savannah during his parents’ incarceration. The family enjoyed local eats at City Café, a beloved establishment well-known for its Southern breakfasts. Their visit coincided with the café’s closure on weekends, a strategic choice anticipated by locals.
The Chrisleys were also seen making typical student-parent stops at Sam’s Costco, Home Goods, and Publix—activities reflecting the everyday life of countless other University of Alabama families. They stayed at a hotel owned by legendary football coach Nick Saban, the Alamite, underscoring their celebrity status while participating in normal routines.
Looking ahead, many wonder if Todd and Julie will attend Grayson’s future games and events, potentially making unforgettable memories in Tuscaloosa’s vibrant culture. Grayson is on track for academic success, raising hopes for a bright future, fittingly branded as “Magna Cum Chrisley.”
