HUNTSVILLE — The first day of the AHSAA state wrestling tournament saw standout performances from Weaver and Alexandria, with the Weaver girls leading the Class 1A-5A rankings and the boys holding strong in second and third in Class 1A-4A.
Weaver’s girls amassed 38 points, followed by Alexandria with 18, marking a successful inaugural year for the 1A-5A division.
