Tuscaloosa County To Host Fall Cleanup Day Nov. 1
Tuscaloosa County Offers Free Cleanup Event for Residents
Tuscaloosa, AL – Next month, residents of Tuscaloosa County will have a fantastic opportunity to declutter their homes during a free cleanup event organized by the Tuscaloosa County Commission. The event, supported by Waste Management Inc., will provide large collection containers for disposing of unwanted household items such as those found in closets, attics, garages, basements, and storage spaces.
Residents can drop off qualifying items at designated locations without incurring any disposal fees. However, certain items such as contractors’ waste, household and kitchen garbage, and hazardous materials will not be accepted.
The event will take place at several convenient locations across the county, including the Jerry Tingle Activity Center on Highway 216 and various schools such as Big Sandy Elementary and Buhl Elementary, among others.
This initiative is a great chance for residents to clear out clutter and contribute to a cleaner community. For further details or questions, residents can contact the county commission at (205) 464-8216.
