UAH awarding nearly 900 degrees during ceremonies at the VBC on Dec. 15
University of Alabama in Huntsville to Celebrate Fall 2025 Graduates
The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) is set to confer approximately 889 degrees during two commencement ceremonies at the Von Braun Center’s Propst Arena next Monday. “Graduation is one of those rare moments in life that manages to be both an ending and a beginning,” remarked Rhonda Gaede, associate provost for undergraduate education. She emphasized the unique environment of a university, where intellectual growth and curiosity thrive.
The first ceremony will commence at 10 a.m., honoring graduates from the College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences; the College of Engineering; and the College of Nursing. The second ceremony at 2 p.m. will celebrate graduates from the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences; the College of Business; and the College of Science. These ceremonies will recognize students who completed their degree requirements over the summer and fall semesters of 2025, with 187 graduates from summer and 702 from fall.
The degrees to be awarded include 555 bachelor’s degrees, 298 master’s degrees, and 36 doctorates, comprising 24 Ph.D.s and 12 Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees. For additional details on the fall 2025 commencement, including livestream options, parking, and security protocols, visit the UAH commencement website. This event marks a significant milestone for the graduates as they transition into new chapters in their academic and professional lives.
