Worlds of Work Returns to East Alabama in 2026: A Career Exploration Expo for Students
Oxford, AL – The highly anticipated Worlds of Work event is making its return to East Alabama from March 10–12, 2026, at the Oxford Civic Center. This engaging expo aims to connect thousands of 8th and 11th grade students with a multitude of career pathways through dynamic, hands-on activities. Participants will have the opportunity to explore 11 distinct “career worlds,” which showcase over 100 different professions. The initiative aims to assist students in making informed career decisions while promoting further education and enhancing graduation rates and workforce readiness within the community.
Event organizers are actively seeking volunteers to contribute to the success of this three-day event. Volunteers will play a vital role in supporting event logistics, guiding students through various activities, and ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
