Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux Expands in Alabama with New Huntsville Location
Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux has made its mark in Alabama by opening its second restaurant in the Huntsville area, situated at Town Madison on Monday. This newest location at 121 Outfield Drive employs around 100 staff members, signaling a robust economic momentum in the region. Madison Mayor Paul Finley emphasized the significance of Walk-On’s as it aligns with the city’s “Plant Your Roots” vision, fostering community and opportunity.
The new restaurant features seating for over 200 guests, a state-of-the-art sports bar, and more than 50 big-screen TVs, creating a welcoming environment for both sports fans and families. The menu boasts a variety of Cajun-inspired dishes like Cajundillas, Boudin Balls, and Alligator Bites, alongside a selection of salads, burgers, cocktails, and beers.
In celebration of the opening, Walk-On’s will host an official Grand Opening Ceremony on June 2, featuring a special appearance by the Rocket City Trash Pandas, a local baseball team. Attendees can enter to win “Free Walk-On’s For A Year” and participate in initiatives supporting local charities and youth teams.
Founded in 2003 in Baton Rouge by LSU basketball walk-ons, Walk-On’s has grown to nearly 80 locations across the U.S. The Town Madison restaurant will operate from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, aiming to become a favorite destination for families and sports enthusiasts alike.
