HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — This weekend is packed with diverse activities across the Tennessee Valley.
The Huntsville Museum of Art will host its grand reopening on Sunday, August 31, with the Betsy and Peter Lowe Community Free Day, offering free admission from 12 to 5 p.m.
Caribbean Day at The Park, part of the 18th Annual celebration, promises music, food, and family fun from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. The Grant Funk Railroad in Owens Crossroads will also welcome visitors from August 30 to September 1, offering a historical experience from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission here is free as well.
Music lovers can enjoy a Laser Taylor Swift Show on August 30, while Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment’s Concerts on the Dock will run through September 26, featuring local talent from 6 to 9 p.m.
In addition, the Labor Day Trade Day in Scottsboro promises vendors and live music this Sunday, while Burritt on the Mountain will feature Calypso Vision as part of its City Lights & Stars Concert Series on August 29.
Family-friendly events include the Back to Homeschool Bash, Smith Lake Park’s Sweet Tater Festival, and the 52nd Annual Art Sunday.
